I don't recommend. The price is why I got one but you cannot cut consistent thickness with this thing because the backplate is too flexible and moves with slight pressure against the meat. Meat has to have some pressure applied to properly cut, so it's a catch 22. You put pressure on the meat at all and the slice ends up too thick. It's kind of like a toy or novelty meat slicer. Will sort of do the job, but the results are very amateur.
