I got the 6 egg cooker by the same company Bella couple months ago for around $9. This product actually works fantastic. Read the instructions, you poke a hole on the bigger side of each egg with the included tool which doubles as measuring cup for the water, this way the egg shell comes off easily after it's cooked. I usually cool it in cold water right after to help this process but it works amazing.
The only negative, is that the heating element / pan, gets brown from I guess the minerals in the water once it all evaporates away so you have to clean it with a paper towel immediately after use to minimize it.
But why? I can cook 24 eggs in a large pot of water with no problem. I do this all the time when making deviled eggs for parties. Why is this device so special?
I agree! These egg cookers work flawlessly. Always peel super easy vs pot boiling. I don't have this one but I do have a cuisinart version. Just put a 1/4 cup or even less of vinegar in after using. Cleans up like new
