I've had one of these for years. No problems but it seems now that many people are using WiFi or Bluetooth units and free analysis software instead.

Depends on your needs. Most of the lower cost bluetooth dongles don't work as advertised, only on CAN protocol mid-2000's and newer OBDII vehicles. They're neat to use in a geeky sort of way but 9 times out of 10 when someone really needs one they just want to pull the DTC and get it fixed.
