is notorious for not helping when vendors fail to follow through on rebates. I agree that referenced rebate offers are too risky and don't do Ben's followers any favors.

I’ve had worst experience with
Newegg
’s rebates. Last time they sent rebate after 8 months. They kept saying there is a delay. I had to call like 8 times.

I will never buy a poorly reviewed repeater again. ...Even the well-reviewed ones are often problematic.
