This device has aged well but I'm still not sure it's worth it.

I suppose it depends on what you want to do with it. It won't do much, but it can still handle video, and paired with a bluetooth keyboard it can be a decent writing platform. (A focused writing platform at that, since its slowness won't tempt you to go play games or browse the web!)
