^ A reset button is applicable when a product has a breaker in it, is not applicable to surge protection itself which is more about voltage than current.
When the breaker in a product trips, it's not saving the strip as much as stopping the fault which your existing premises circuit breaker also does. In other words to toast this it would have to shunt a significant surge and if it does that and fails, it is warranty replaced free for life, quote:
"If the Surge Protection LED is not illuminated, simply contact APC, and we will replace your SurgeArrest free of charge. "
