According to the Q&A on this, it is not compatible with the latest 4K Fire Stick.
Biggest 'con' is battery life.

By the way to conserve battery life when not in use some uers suggest moving the contoller out of range of Fire Stick as there is apparantly no on/off switch..

Just so you know, you can also connect a game console Bluetooth controller. Personally, I use one of my Xbox One controllers, and it works great. $15 is a great price, but perhaps not necessary if you already own Bluetooth controllers.
