A friend of mine bought some. They're about twice the size of the Apple ones, run for about an hour, sound awful, drop out all the time and are complicated to pair. You can get pretty decent tethered bluetooth earbuds for $18, but so far the only good untethered earbuds you'll find are the Apple AirPods, with Bose a distant second.
I’ve bought probably 10-12 different sets of wireless headphones and compared them to the beats tethered ones. I haven’t used AirPods yet so I’m not sure how they stack up against those. I would definitely not buy these knockoffs because they sacrifice too much just to get them to look like an original. I honestly can’t tell the difference from the mpow or anker sets that I’ve owned and the beats. I ride probably 100 miles or so a week on a bike with them, run with them, use them in the gym. With how much I use them, they don’t last long... but probably any brand wouldn’t. They all say they are water resistant and sweat proof, never is the case. I’d rather buy a new pair at $18 every few months than splurge for something more expensive that will fail as well. If you want headphones, go with the mpow or anker. Both brands have replaced sets for me that went faulty too fast with excellent customer service. I think I’m using the anker curves currently, will probably just buy another pair or a newer model when they wear out.
