The soles are crazy sticky and designed to stay on the pedals. Trust me or ask any Mtn bikers, they're the real deal

I think they split the models into a more top end and low end price point. Their cheaper shoes are super thin and will wear out in no time, their top line is still pretty durable like the pre Adidas shoes
