Before you consider this drive, do your homework! They are DOUBLE sided. IOW, if you have a thin laptop, the SX8200 may not fit. The SX8200 is frequently discounted, and the price vs. performance ratio can be a bargain, especially on the 500GB & 1TB drives. BUT.... due to the double sided format, they are thick enough to be a problem in many thin laptops. ADATA support told me (pre-sale) that the drive won't be a problem, and probably fit your laptop just fine". NOTE the "Probably" in that sentence. I heard what I wanted to hear and didn't dig deeper. I couldn't resist buying a 1TB for my Thinkpad X1 Extreme during a sale, and..... nope, no way that drive was going to fit without modification, and possible/probable damage. There are some pics of people cramming them into place, bending the drive, but seriously, even if you are lucky enough not to destroy the drive initially, I would not bet on it's long term survival, AND if it fails, you have definitely voided the ADATA warranty. They are well aware of the abuse. Fine for desktops, and probably most gaming laptops, and budget laptops where the thicker casing will allow for the fit and air flow, but if you have an Ultra / Thin & Light, buy a single sided (most are) drive that will fit without modification, and additionally allow some airflow for cooling. My .02 cents. Hope it saves someone the h***le of a return, and unnecessary aggravation, although I feel obligated to add that B&H, the seller in this case, is one of the best, if not THE best tech sales company to deal with, so this is not a knock against them in any way. Their sales people (real humans to talk to when needed) are great, they've always had great service, and B&H is typically very compe***ive on pricing.... sort of like
Newegg
used to be.

To Bens staff: When posting discount deals on these drives, a notification of some sort would be helpful, appreciated, and the right thing to do. :)
