This seem rich anymore today, while seems to have all the right boxes checked it steep for what it isn't.
Like a decent Zelman Performa 92mm CPU Heat-Sink it the bare minimum, I think for $1250 you'd be getting AIO Cooler. Then generic DDR4 2666MHz back a year/two ago and this price it was expected, but today either a better price or at least 3200Mhz. The drives 2Gb HDD and 240Gb SSD fits the bill, but an SSD like that is half the price it was. The GTX 1080 good, but just a Zotac "Mini", that said it seems like there inflicting the full $500 price, although for not getting RTX bonus. For the price I'd rather think a RTX 2070 is more germane.
So all that said and that this in it heyday was $1650, and understanding that was it "inflated price" due to mining, SSD, and memory. Seeing perhaps back in mid-summer of 2016 and more pricing was actually "real"... this honestly would've started realistically at $1500. Now today 20-25% off is I feel and reasonable, so thinking $1125-1200 tops.
For $1250 you can build a box better and with more graphics, today.
@casecutter, you would be surprised the people who either "can't", think they can't or are just flat out to lazy to piece together and assemble a nice PC for much less. Also, let's not forget, you have people my age that saw people like me building PC's before "plug and play" and thinking why in the world would anyone spend time doing that when they could buy a PC that is pre-made. It may take this generation or next to show the future how easy it actually is.
