One reviewer stated the charge didn't seem to last long so they bought a tester which indicated they are 700mAh.

What concerns me a bit more is it looks like this uses USB as a power source, and probably has a simple circuit that expects 5V and 500mAh... to charge all 8 batteries with independent bays, that means it is probably splitting the 500mA so each gets only 62mA if that, which is not enough for smart, Delta -V charge termination. This could be part of why they only measured at 700mAh for the reviewer.
