I just ordered one pack each of the 50 blue ones for $0.18, 72 red ones for $0.20, and 72 green (Dixon) for $0.33. Total was less than $1 for local pickup. We shall see if they pull it or not
i placed my order yesterday and went last night to pick it up in store. i ordered one box each of the red, green, and black pencils.
when i went up to pick up my order, i got 1 pencil of each color. not one box of 72, but one pencil. i briefly explained that it was for a box, but the lady said for $0.18 you aren't getting 72 pencils, you are getting one.
she apologized, but at that point, i knew it wasn't her fault and she didn't need to apologize for a weberror that she didn't cause. so i left with those three pencils for 20cents each. and a box of screws and some tape and other things i had to buy anyway..
hopefully others here might share what they ended up getting.
I got single pencils too today. The lady I had explained that I was supposed to get 2 pencils because it said quantity 2. I had to get a manager over to explain that she was wrong and it was supposed to be 2 50packs. After spending 10 minutes explaining how this works, I was told they don’t sell 50 packs.
Yup, I got one blue and one red pencil, not the 50/72 pack. I asked at Customer Service, but wasn't a jerk about it. Was told the description was wrong, they don't sell 50/72 packs, so I said "thanks for checking" and took my single pencils. Oh well.
Went to pick up and was given the one pencil blue and yellow as well. I told them it should be 50 and 72 each, they went an counted out 50 blue and the yellow they give 7 packs of 10 and 2 pencil on the side. So score. They did cancel my 72 red pencils.
I finally was able to go pick up my order (after much confusion at the CS desk). Like others, I received single pencils in each color. Oh well... it was worth a try!
