Started in China, you say? Where's all the EVALI? I distinctly remember politicians of all stripes trying to outlaw vaping in 2019. Case files show that EVALI is clinically indistinct from Covid-19 in all ways but one—communicability. We've seen host pressures radically increase the infectivity of this virus in real time these past 16 months, which only serves to bolster the case that EVALI was actually Covid.
Were American politicians so eager to ban vaping that they failed to realize that a contagion with pandemic potential was spreading on American soil? It sure as heck looks that way. If anything, China should be blaming the United States.
