Sears keeps letting me use points for purchases, then pulling them back after I hit Purchase, charging my card more than the final price. Then I chat Support and they offer me more points (that I can't use because: see above) to take their place. So I keep accumulating points I can't use. I'm done with Sears.
By the way there's a term for this changing the purchase price after I hit Buy, and then charging me more: FRAUD.
The reason my cashback points disappeared in the past is that i used my sears credit card as payment, whose 5% cashback bonus REPLACES the cashback points offer after you press the purchase button. So if you want cashback points, DO NOT use your sears credit card, use any other card.
