Or has an HVAC system in each level of their house and changes both filters 4 times a year... like you're supposed to do.. that's only a few years of filters.

These are not rated for any particular pathogen blocking, nor should be expected to block more effectively by changing them out more often.

There are several reasons you could end up moving more or dirtier air through your filter and need to change it more often, or that you deliberately choose to leave your HVAC fan always-on sometimes to filter the air more, though usually people thinking about that, spring for more effective, far more more expensive filters but even with cheap ones it has the same effect for large particle size.

They just BASIC has a rating of MERV 5. Need MERV 13 for coronavirus.

If coronavirus is already in your house, it doesn't matter whether the filter is MERV5 or MERV13.

MERV 5 is good for keeping squirrels out of the HVAC system.

I got these, they are really thin! I didn't know they made filters this thin. I think they might be for commercial buildings in ceiling air handlers or something.

Just about the lowest quality filters I've come across. Ask yourself, do you really want to be stuck with them for the rest of your life?
