These are only rated MERV 8.....not terrible, but not that spectacular either. Also, even with this 45% off, they are only finally just approaching the REGULAR price of a MERV 8 filter at Menards (DuPont Basic Pleated). Plus Menards has their 11% store rebate sale going on this week. Plus you can just buy a single one if you want, if you don't want to buy 12 at once. I guess the free shipping is nice though....plus maybe some don't have a Menards in their area.
@jsfoster75. Hmm..that does look convenient, and probably keeps one on schedule better for changing them out, but it also looks PRICEY.
For example, the regular price at Menards for 1"x20"x25" MERV 8 filter is only about $4.50 (plus they seem to run 11% rebate sales 1-2 weeks per month), yet the filter service you mentioned shows MERV 8 filters STARTING at $12. You might just be better off just buying them from (for example here: https://amzn.to/2TdygID ) and signing up for their subscribe and save or something to say on schedule.
