I tried Famotidine for a while, really dried me out, not just stomach but also mouth, nose, lungs, eyes. Did the trick though, when I was rebounding coming off Prilosec. Don't take either long term, can cause nutrient deficiencies among other problems.

Same here, dries out my ENT. Omeprazole is usually taken for 7-14 days or "cycles".
I've come to the conclusion that just about every med has the potential for withdrawal to some degree. Acetaminophen is one of them.
Famotidine is also being "prescribed" for Cloverfield19.
