The first can gets it cold and it keeps the rest cold. One thing I don't like is due to the weight of the can cooler, you can't tell if your can is almost empty.
For a change, some actually useful comments. These work well in keeping the drink cold but, as stated, because of the weight, unless you're drinking, you can't tell if the can is empty. They definitely have a heft to them. Some of the older styles can be had individually on clearance at the same price ($3/each) but only in colors (don't know if the colored ones are stainless steel).
