I have a different brand/version of these and they pull a watt while off and stay warm. Probably worth buying a real brand on this one.

^ Many of them do draw a significant % of full-on power whether the LED is switched on or not, may not be a matter of brand but rather seeking a specific model that doesn't, and the electronics to achieve that may raise the price by more than its lifetime of reduced energy consumption would save, since we're talking about such a small savings.

However if you're trying to measure these with a KW Meter, you might find it gives an inaccurate, higher than actual reading because it's so low. Their spec is 0.4W which is consistent with their energy cost claim and the lumens that a reviewer answer stated, less than 50 lumens.
