Was curious what these are for and it looks like you can use them as an anchor point for the normal ratcheting straps so instead of having to put the metal/rubber strap on your bike you can use this. Don't transport my bike via truck/trailer often enough to warrant using these, but they are interesting!
Feltrider99 is right. It allows better attachment to bike when transporting. I've used many times and worth it to add to my ratchet strap bag, can be used also when can't hook ratched hook around something or to reduce damage to what you're tying down.
You might want to get two orders for a bike. Sometime to get the hook strap far enough away from the paint on the motorcycle you can tie two together. They do work really well if you are trailering your motorcycle.
