Orbi is sweet. I uograded this last holiday and it's expensive but awesome upgrade to my home wifi. We had spotty coverage and run VPN and Citrix to work remotely and the quasi-mesh performs much better than the 2 previous wifi extenders I had. A recent upgrade to my cell means everything works well now.
I've installed several RBK50's, all ended up in AP mode. Getting this into AP mode can be a PITA but otherwise no issues. No "bricking" during the automatic firmware updates. Be aware this is a 'star topology so no hopping from satellite to satellite.
