I’ve been using this exact brand for the past year. I have no problem with it. It’s no charmin super soft but my tooshie agrees it’s cheap and does the job.

newspaper works best. has a certain "grip" that other types of paper cannot emulate.

Not such a great deal when you have to use twice as much to get the job done. Life is too short to settle for 1-ply! Be good to yourself and spring for 2-ply.
