Over 2.7 cents per GB. Not an amazing price, but decent. 4-8TB drives can be as inexpensive as 2 cents per GB. Seagate has to provide a fantastic price for me to consider.

24TB is a lot of data to lose. This would be a good price for any other brand.
People easily forget that Seagate was the #1 rated drive in servers and NAS's in the early 2000's. Its all I would buy in my data centers that I managed. Their top shelf drives like the IronWolf will not disappoint. Its the lower quality drives that have the bad failure rates just like WD, Hitachi etc.
$.02 to $.027...man, I remember when anything slightly less than $0.50 per GB was a deal! While you can get smaller drives for a better price ratio, the price could be justified if drive space/slots was a limiting factor. Also, we all know exactly what kind of data would go on these hdd’s...and it ain’t algorithms or cures.
