This antigen based test is not very accurate. I would strongly recommend other rapid test options that are molecular amplification or PCR Amplification based. Most places do not recognize this test due to poor accuracy as well.
Quick and easy test. Would definitely follow up with a real lab test if it’s positive. Good to have around the house if you need to differentiate between COVID and flu
We’ve been keeping 2 spare boxes of these around. With so many protocols for events/etc, plus being safe with kids going to school, it’s nice to have a quick test option when needed.
PCR tests are meaningless. The Nobel prize winning inventor of this test, Kerry Mullis, specifically stated NOT to be used for diagnosis. The cycle counts can be changed to create any result desired. Antigen tests like this are different.
