I buy bulk ascorbic acid powder, though my primary reason is I make hot sauce concentrate and wanted to keep pH low without using vinegar. Heh, I get enough vitamin C just eating the hot sauce but could dissolve the powder in fruit juice or whatever if I wanted more.

I used to get a brand called Duda (sp?) Energy but got a lb from
amazon
last time for $10... but it's now $13. 454g vs 95g
