Read the reviews first. Many say this (and other) laundry packets that contain powder instead of being entirely comprised of liquid detergent tend to not dissolve, but solidify and attach as a big clump to clothing in the wash. That's why the powder packets are cheaper than the liquid ones; they have issues and simply don't work as well. Combined with the Walgreens account scam, this looks like another example of TANSTAAFL.
Powder pacs work better in top loader washers with warm to hot water. If you have a top loader you could use the liquid when you're doing a cold load and save money using the powder pacs the rest of the time.
Upon further research, the problem with these cheaper liquid/powder detergent pods is the poor design that uses too much plastic around the corners. It's the excess plastic that tends not to dissolve, then melt in the dryer, sticking to (and ruining) clothing.
