increased their name brand pasta by 40% literally OVERNIGHT while simultaneously introducing their market pantry brand pasta but at 25% increase on the original name brand price. This was done OVERNIGHT so the inattentive consumer would either buy the market pantry brand thinking it cost less than the name brand or just buy the name brand at the 40% OVERNIGHT price increase. If they do this for pasta they watch out for what else when up on price. This was eye popping pricing behavior for such a large retailer. Caveat Emptor !!!
Have to give San Luis Obispo credit for providing a security guard and clerks to manage the Black Friday line/crowd outside the store so that it felt safe, fun and not at all like the stampede we've seen on the news at other big box retailers. Maybe it's just the part of the line I was in was nicer , or maybe more people shopped online, or maybe I just got lucky, but this store did proactively parade their security guards and clerks to help out bargain hunters and dissuade trouble makers from raising their ugly heads. Thanks SLO :)
came out with their A-game this year. I've noticed that their pick up at store option is usually more reliable than that of 's even though some things may be oos.
Does have a few exclusions- I bought a gift card that wasn't included, but was surprised to see the in store Starbucks was included in the 15% off. So if you want to splurge on Starbucks coffee- do it tomorrow!
The ipad air 2 was $274.99 on BF, all sold out in delaware, but got one in Maryland. I forgot my redcard at home and they wouldn't look it up for me; not sure if that is a store by store issue or just company policy, so don't forget your card!
