I have this set, and fair warning - if you use it on an electric stove for some reason it takes way longer than normal for food to heat up compared with other pots and pans. It seems to be hit or miss, but with these it was a miss for me.

I wonder if the mass of the SS pans is higher than cheap alum pans, but maybe your heat is more even?
