I'm trying to think of a situation where someone would use this.
It has a (US) female outlet... and a chassis male plug... so...
nope. I just don't get it.
I must be missing something. Can anyone enlighten me?

I'm trying to figure out the use also. I'm intrigued. It says "Power your monitor or printer using your computer’s power supply" but I'm scratching my head wondering how the computer would be suppied with power if you have your printer connected to the power supply of your computer??????
