It does not work faster than generic label stuff... The active ingredient is equally potent in virtually all of these products, at the same concentration. What's different about Roundup is that they add an extra burning compound so that impatient consumers can "see something happening" immediately. I buy the generic glysophate, high concentration, in large bottles and mix with water as needed. Never fails. Treat it with respect, as you should any toxic compound, and you'll be fine. But if you spray this stuff while wearing flip-flops and shorts, for years and years, you'll probably die from it. Cover up!
