To Vash, See my posting just above yours. The ones that swarm are Asian lady beetles, confused by most people with true ladybugs. The ladybugs for sale used to be common all over the United States but got replaced by the invasive and annoying Asian lady beetles that were introduced by the Dept. of Agriculture on purpose as a biological control. They got out of hand and forced out most of the native ladybugs. The ladybugs for sale are true ladybugs and they do not swarm.

These are ladybugs (good bugs). The type that swarm are actually Asian lady beetles, not ladybugs.
