Deals of the Week… Going, Going, Almost Gone! (9/20/13 Edition)

By on September 20, 2013

Most great deals don’t last that long on Ben’s Bargains. That’s why signing up for Deal Alerts is your best bet (and The Driver recommends them).

Here are 10 deals of the week (Sept. 14 to Sept. 20) that you really liked or we thought were pretty good… and even better, are actually still valid, but not for long:

1. They’re Like Laptops Without Keyboards

Office Depot is taking $75 off any Samsung tablet with a printable coupon. You might be able to snag a Galaxy Tab 3 7″ Tablet (below) for $125 + tax, but don’t waste another minute because availability will be limited.

Expiration:  9/21.

2. Cheap Cruise to the Bahamas

If you’re around New York in December, you can take a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas for as low as $279 per person. Keep in mind it’s an interior room, i.e. no view. There are other room options and dates starting from $319 on up.

Expiration: Limited time.

3. No Alcohol Included

If you’re on Facebook sometime, you can get a set of four complimentary Stainless Steel Whiskey Stones and a decanter with stopper if you sign your life away. Well, not exactly, but you do have to fill out forms with your name and address so the Independent Whiskey Association (yes) can actually ship it to you. They will also know where you live.

Expiration: Limited time.

4. Expect 5% More

Kohl’s is taking an extra 25% off sitewide right now. Outside of Black Friday, that’s higher than the 15% to 20% that the department store typically offers during the year. A good place to start is Gold Star Clearance so you can stack savings.

Expiration: 9/22.

5. Don’t Count the Calories

You’ve got over a week to use and reprint the BOGO Free Smoothie coupon over and over at Jamba Juice. Don’t let it go to your head. We see these coupons every few weeks, and they never get old.

Expiration: 9/29.

6. It’s Called Metro

HSN has the Nokia Lumia 521 No-Contract T-Mobile Windows 8 Smartphone (right) for $80 shipped with coupon code (for new customers only). This model is super popular — it’s been sitting at #1 in No-Contract Cell Phones on Amazon for a few weeks. It’s also $118 at said Amazon.

Expiration: 9/30.

7. No, Seriously, Summer’s Not Actually Over

Summer does not officially end until tomorrow, September 21st. Men’s board shorts are on sale for $7.50 shipped with coupon code at American Eagle. You can figure out the rest.

Expiration: 9/22.

 8. Axess Is Not Really Spelled That Way

This week, Sears dropped the price on the 85-Piece Craftsman Universal Max Axess MTS Tool Set from $100 to $72. That’s also nearly $50 less than what it was a couple months ago.

Expiration: Limited time.

9. 10GB Is More Like a Cumulonimbus

In 2013, the average computer user has his or her sensitive files and photos spread out on over 5 cloud accounts. OK, not really, it just feels like that. But if you’re a glutton for punishment, you can get another 10GB of Google Drive (for two years) by signing into Google’s free Quickoffice app for Android or iOS. Yes, they will also know where you live.

Expiration: 9/26.

10. It’s Like A Laptop Because It Has a Keyboard

This week, Lenovo’s been offering the cool IdeaTab Lynx K3011 Windows 8 11.6″ Tablet (below) at the sale price of $299 with coupon code ($380 at Amazon). Now, they’ve decided to throw in the keyboard dock for another $50.

Expiration: 9/25.
