Deals of the Week… Going, Going, Almost Gone! (10/11/13 Edition)

By on October 11, 2013

Most great deals don’t last that long on Ben’s Bargains. That’s why signing up for Deal Alerts is your best bet (and The Driver recommends them).

Here are 10 deals of the week (Oct. 5 to Oct. 11) that you really liked or we thought were pretty good… and even better, are actually still valid, but not for long:

1. Pocket the Savings, Just Not the Phone

This week, Samsung released the latest edition of their ginormous smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Normally $300, you can get the Note 3 for $210 shipped with special code and two-year agreement.

Expiration: Limited time.

2. IPS Means Fancy

Newegg Flash (membership is free) has the Acer S275HL bmii 27″ IPS LED-Backlit LCD Monitor for $200 with free shipping. This quality IPS monitor is normally found for $300 or more.

Expiration: 10/16.

3. Update the Wardrobe

H&M finally launched their online store a couple months ago, and recently they’ve been tossing out various deals to get customers to visit. This week, you can get an extra 40% off one item in their store. Caveat: you can’t return online purchases in the store.

Expiration: 10/14.

4. Cheaper iPhones

Walmart has jumped out in front of the pack by now selling the plastic iPhone 5c for $45 in their stores (with 2-year contract, of course). Last week, Best Buy was selling it for regular price ($100) but with a $50 gift card; now Radio Shack is doing the same basic promo. No gift card hassle is better.

Expiration: 12/31.

5. Fluffy Towels Not Included

Amazon is selling the Texsport Deluxe Camp Shower/Shelter Combo for $50 with free shipping. That’s about $30 off the normal price. As nearly 100 Amazon customer reviews will attest to, this isn’t nearly as useless as it sounds.

Expiration: Limited time.

6. Not Exactly Free Candy in a Van

Halloween’s around the corner and 100 pieces of Hershey’s snack-size candy on sale for $11 shipped from Amazon will help you stock up. Amazon’s got 20% off other Halloween treats, as well.

Expiration: Limited time.

7. But Everybody Has Them!

The Beats Solo HD headphones are on sale for $150 shipped from Groupon. That’s $50 off the regular price of these super popular headphones (over 1,000 reviews on Amazon.) If you don’t mind refurbished cans, Tanga’s got them for $90.

Expiration: 10/14.

8. Ultrabook Means Fancy, Too

The Core i5 Dell Inspiron 15z Ultrabook dropped below $600 for the first time this week. It’s now $550 shipped with coupon code as Dell begins to roll out its 2013 models (the 7000 series replaces the Z series).

Expiration: 10/22.

9. How ‘Bout Them Broncos?

You’ll only find a third of the NFL represented here, but if you’re a fan of the Broncos or Raiders, among 9 others, then you can grab a replica Reebok NFL jersey from Tanga for $20 shipped. Usually twice that price.

Expiration: Limited time.

10. Be Green Man

You can be the Green Man for $22 shipped from Amazon. Because Halloween.

Expiration: Limited time.
