Announced in a press release this morning, Best Buy will be offering free shipping on all products starting on Oct. 25, 2015 and running through Jan. 2, 2016. Prior to this promotion, all orders had to reach a $35 minimum threshold in order to qualify for free shipping.

Target ran a similar promotion last year, but hasn’t announced any new promotion yet. However, the company did lower the minimum threshold for free shipping from $50 to $25 during early 2015. Walmart ran a similar promotion this year, although temporary, to combat Amazon Prime Day. Of course, it’s possible that more companies will try to match Best Buy’s offer in the coming weeks.

In addition to offering free shipping on all online orders, Best Buy is attempting to get customers into the stores prior to Black Friday with a promotional event. On Saturday, November 7th, 400 participating Best Buy stores will have the following promotions:

  • First 100 customers get a free tech gift
  • Black Friday-like deals on this year’s hottest gifts (offered all day in all stores)
  • The chance to win one of five $1,000 Best Buy gift cards through a Twitter sweepstakes.
  • Robot and virtual reality demos facilitated by Geek Squad Agents

This will take place between 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time at participating stores.
