I've seen other posts that LG is not a great brand for these portable air conditioners and buying one refurb could be a terrible mistake unless you bought a couple year warranty from somebody like SquareTrade and I don't know that they would sell you one. I certainly wouldn't buy a refurb one without at least a two year warranty from somewhere.
