Indoor antenna's only pick up static in my house but this antenna picks up channels from 35mi away through heavy foliage even when pointed in the wrong direction. The overall construction seems cheap so I don't expect the rotate function to last, but there's only one direction to point at anyway (here) so it's a "set it and forget it" feature as far as I'm concerned. Overall, it's well worth the $25 (plus mounting bracket + 5' mast + grounding block = $50 total) to get local channels without sacrificing my ISP data.
