I've had no success with StackSocial but I do use and like Mailbird Pro. I first stumbled across Mailbird when looking for a good replacement for M$ Outlook for Windows and I'm glad I did. I don't use Exchange anymore and Outlook proved buggy with Yahoo Mail so a replacement was necessary. Mailbird integrates via IMAP with Gmail, Gmail's Calendar, and Gmail's contacts, and works perfectly with Yahoo mail (IMAP). It's not as pretty as Outlook but it's been updated recently and I'm happy so far. It's a small company and hopefully, they'll be around a few years.
