It's made by LG and probably a good fridge.

Get an extended warranty from someone OTHER than Sears (SquareTrade does a good job) and buy with a Citibank or Amex card to extend it further. Sears isn't likely to survive the year.

Just got the failed compressor in my similar 18 month old Kenmore. Compressor was still covered under warranty but not labor. Took them (Sears home services) 2 weeks to fix it.
