    However you have to decide whether you really want that printer or any printer for that matter.

    If you really want a good deal on a Canon camera and/or lenses, buy a refurb directly from Canon, especially when they go on sale (which is pretty often). Canon's refurb products are top notch. I'd even go as far as saying they're better than buying new because each refurb goes through more rigorous testing than its new counterpart. Very unlikely that you'll get a "bad copy" as is sometimes the case when you buy new lenses. I just picked up the above mentioned 24-105mm F/4L for $599 on sale. It's absolutely fabulous and sells for $999 new from legit dealers.
