These things are so popular. I just don't get it tho. Brewing good coffee is already so easy. Why would I overpay for these small pods even if this device were free? Maybe I'm just not thinking like most consumers

The main reason for me is that there is no clean up.

I don't get it either. I brew at least double what I want then put the rest in the fridge and nuke it the next time I want some to reduce wait time, cleanup, and cost... tho' I'm not picky about coffee as long as it doesn't remind me of road tar.
