Buy the TV and get a PlayStation 4 or Xbox one console essentially free. Not a bad deal.

Just don't forget to turn off the spying features called "Smart Interactivity" -- it reports back to advertisers whatever you are watching at the time.

I am familiar with the E series (own one), the P series (got the 70" 4k), and the M series. What is the D series???

@Choekstr - the D series is unique to holiday sales (samsung and LG do this too but they play with the numbers like the samsung 60JU6390 - the number is close to other models so you think it falls between them but in reality they are usually lower)
Same concept here. Here is my warning to shoppers on this - the D series is not listed on Netflix's website for supporting models for UHD streaming meaning you CAN'T stream 4K netflix without more equipment. - unless netflix website is outdated-
BensBargains commented on the other deal for this tv "These are the new promotional "2016" models with 4K but specs are lower grade vs. the M Series. D Series have 14 active LED zones vs. 32 zones for the M Series"
I personally would not recommend this deal as you will likely have to buy more equipment to take advantage of 4K (don't expect up-scaling to be so great) and the "savings" will diminish with the trouble. I admit though, I was really tempted...and kinda still am...
