I wonder how this would be over a old Athlon 4450e Dual Core for like a HTPC. From CPUBoss and CPUWorld it would appear close that it's not worth for the sake of change well other then performance per watt /energy cost. But would need new memory as it's running DDR2 right now. More just be fun as a project and I don't need a project.
I'm happy with mine, runs Win7 decent and the passive heatsink doesn't even get warm for typical office/email/web uses.
One issue is you have to watch your crossloading. It puts such a tiny load on the PSU that one PSU I tried (Corsair CX430) wouldn't even post the system half the time running from a SSD until I added a case fan and HDD.
