Cannot be used with iPhones. You must use the WiFi version instead.

Torque is an app that works with PLX Kiwi which is a hardware cable dongle that transmits signal through BT.
"Torque is using ELM commands/protocol to communicate with the Kiwi Bluetooth."

Alternatively,
You can get Bluetooth version of ELM 327($11) without that fancy but useless PLX light.
