the nintendo store (store.nintendo.com) sells refurb wii remote plus for $20 + tax + $5 shipping per order (if you don't want a red or green controller ;)).
the refurbs are in great condition. the only small problem/difference is that sometimes they are the older variety that does not have the reset button accessible through the battery cover (or sometimes the included silicon skin doesn't have a hole to access the button even though the battery cover does).
