Supposed to be a good value if you like the Les Paul style. http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/reviews/electric_guitars/epiphone/les_paul_ultra_iii/index.html I prefer Super Strats.. Many say quality on new guitars has gone down hill on most brands. A better used axe can sometimes be a better choice.

I have a similar Epi Les Paul...replaced the pickups with some great ones from
Ebay
for $100 and the guitar is a beast.
