Good for non-gaming use in a low profile system with poor airflow. Otherwise get one with a larger passive (fanless) heatsink instead, next time they go on sale.
made the mistake of buying the 5450 last week for games. Even simple games are too much for these weak cards. They are comparable to 10 year video cards. Mainly good for video.
^ They are a bit better than 10 year old cards in that they are programmable meaning they are set up to do acceleration of flash and HD video, and you'd have to compare against higher end cards from 10 years ago which used multiple times as much power.
