Wen recently bought a larger 12 amp unit and it's barely adequate for the job - meaning it actually works well, but you need to go slowly and avoid wet or iced snow. This has only 60% of the current, which translates into 36% of power, and I fully expect this to be a wimp. Unless you want to remove 2" or less of fresh dry snow from your front door, and that's it, I wouldn't recommend this.
^ There are a lot of safer and more effective ways to exercise than being out in freezing weather shoveling snow on a slippery surface. Plus, sometimes a person may wake up to find that it snowed over night and they must shovel their car a path out and don't have a lot of time to do it.
However, such a person would want a larger blower than this. Besides that, power tools are fun to play with... a shovel not so much.
