good reviews, if not very many of them, at but for $15 (doesn't even require a rebate!), what do you have to lose?
consider these if wifi isn't working for you. previously i had complaints from family members about wifi dropping or speeds being too variable (ranging from okay to horrible). if you have a tablet, then you can easily move to better reception, but not so easy if it's a laptop, or even possible for a desktop.
i have powerline av (ie 200 mbps) equipment from d-link (two sets) and netgear and they are comparable to wifi (802.11n) speeds on good/newer home wiring and probably use the same underlying chipset because i can query their performance/stats using the other's app. i even use them to set up wireless aps in far corners of the house to improve signal. it's good enough for surfing (ie faster than my broadband) or automated file transfers (nightly backups), but i wouldn't want to wait on multi-gigabyte files (eg movies, isos) with it (but nor would i with wifi).
