    2gb ram with an sd card. Those are solid specs. This is a great candidate for an iPod alternative. I'm a big fan of using a phone with the same size sim card as your daily driver to give you an podcatcher/media player/music player that can double as an emergency phone in a pinch.

    I disagree. I only want a phone to be updated if the company is willing to put the time to doing it 100% right. If you're using that phone as a media player, Jelly Bean is fine, but if they are going to do a half-hearted update to KitKat or (more likely) lollypop, you're better off staying on JB or you'll be dealing with memory leaks (the phone slowing down throughout the day) and bad battery life. The best OS for a phone is the one that was designed well. Newer is not necessarily better.

    I can deal with 4.4 kitkat but Jellybean....... C'mon man. Might as well pull out my Boombox and MC Hammer "cant touch this".....if im gonna be rockin out RETRO STYLE
